Weekday Mass Resumes November 2020

Weekday Mass at Nazareth Parish

We are very pleased to be able to resume the celebration of Weekday Mass in Nazareth parish commencing on Wednesday 4th November 2020. In doing this we need to comply with the directions of the Victorian Health department and follow the guidelines of the Archdiocese with respect to how the celebration of the Mass can be safely undertaken.

Praying the Rosary (using ZOOM)

Wow! we have come so far

Who would have imagined several months ago that we could be praying at a distance!  And yet ins some ways our church has always encouraged us to pray privately in union with the rest of the church around the world, So now, with October being the month of the Holy Rosary, we warmly invite you to gather to pray the Holy Rosary with us through a zoom session, to join our prayers together in cyberspace and ask Marys' intercessions for ouworld.

Plenary Council assemblies set for 2021 and 2022

The two assemblies for the Fifth Plenary Council of Australia will now take place in October 2021 and April 2022, following the disruption of the original schedule due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Australian Catholic Bishops Conference last week decided to postpone the opening assembly by 12 months, with it now to be held in October 2021. Adelaide remains the venue for the first assembly. The second assembly will be in Sydney in April 2022.

A special invitation to parents and grandparents

Dear Friends,
The current crisis has provided many challenges and difficulties. If there is anything we can gain from the pandemic is the importance of family and the value of spending time with our loved ones. The past few weeks have given many of us time to sit down and read a book with our children. The parish would like to extend the significance of family and the reading of books with the wider community.
